Building Great Teams - Handout

This handout summarises the key components of effective and high performing teams. It describes the characteristics of great teams and provides guidance and support on creating and leading teams of this nature. Whilst the theme will likely provoke interest organisation wide, it is most likely to be useful to leaders of teams seeking inspiration, support and practical guidance in building and sustaining winning teams within their organisation. This handout is accompanied by an exercise – ‘Building Great Teams’ and in addition the handouts ‘The Leaders Role in Building Teams’ and the ‘Different Types of Teams’ will also be useful to be read in conjunction with this handout.
